Greyhound Adventures by Terric A. Durden is a simple read and will be enjoyed by most age groups, from teenagers through to the elderly. A collection of anecdotes that lead to advice and suggestions for the general traveler who prefers to go by bus, there is plenty of humor and quite a few real-life situations with which many can identify. Terric Durden relates very short tales from when he started in the bus travel industry, often being actively involved in helping travelers and colleagues alike. This is a short, snappy read for anyone who wants to enjoy something lightweight and entertaining. Each section is attractively divided with a related graphic and the reader is guided clearly into the next topic of stories.
Terric A. Durden writes in quite a matter-of-fact manner, relating stories of his experiences in the bus travel industry, namely with Greyhound. Quite a number of topics are covered, from traveling with pets to complying with notices and warnings to turning around experiences for some travelers. Greyhound Adventures' collection of short stories enables the reader to identify scenarios and events, whether it is because of someone the reader knows who has personally experienced the loss of baggage, for example, or because the reader was in a very similar situation when a fellow traveler flouted the rules and ended up in trouble with the bus carrier. Enjoy a laugh, a warm moment, and gain some understanding of the life of bus travel personnel.
