Ghostwriter is a work of fiction in the psychological thriller and paranormal mystery subgenres. It is intended for the mature end of the young adult reading audience and was penned by the mysterious and enigmatic World Codex Staff and author Meredith Carson. Narrating the unique and bizarre experiences inspired by a harrowing photograph, Meredith delivers a thrilling ride of psychological horrors, UFOs, and inexplicable phenomena. The experiences of Jack Wagoner are transcribed into a thrilling and concise plot that takes readers from a journey of unexplained mysteries into a world where the truth is inescapable, yet also impossible to believe.
The intriguing work of the World Codex Staff and author Meredith Carson delivers a fascinating quick read that is easily devoured in one sitting but will also leave images and questions in the reader’s mind for a long time after they put this book down. Mature teens and adult readers alike will enjoy the suspense and thrills which the narrative skill offers. Such is the direct mode of reporting, frank and chilling in its raw honesty, that it feels like you’re reading the book version of a Blair Witch-style account. Couple this with the incredible cinematic quality of the descriptive work on the intrusions and discoveries that follow later on, and you have all the makings of a chilling horror novel and a paranormal action blockbuster all rolled into one. I would not hesitate to recommend Ghostwriter to fans of paranormal mysteries and psychological horror that packs a punch.
