Get the Right Job! by Jeff Magnuson is for all job hunters out there searching for the best career. This book expertly guides the reader through the various tasks of getting the right job. It hits the important topics of a resume, cover letters, and interviews with confidence. Get the Right Job! also has a simple list of goals the author wishes to achieve with the reader. Each topic/chapter encourages the reader to think differently and acknowledge that times are changing. The author even includes a few of his own experiences and stories with other people he's worked with to not only empower the reader but to give that direct advice and wider understanding. Jeff Magnuson's book is for anyone frustrated and uncertain, and oftentimes feeling limited, in the process of getting a new position or a new job entirely.
Get the Right Job! by Jeff Magnuson is a perfect guide to the world of work. Jeff keeps the topics simple, starting with why his book is necessary and why YOU are really in control, stating that "you deserve the position that fulfills you." Get the Right Job! spreads out into the topic of how to write an effective resume, stating that it's "the foundation of how you present yourself," and shares direct advice through stories of past individuals he's talked to. Jeff's goals for the reader are laid out in easy order and they're realistic so as not to overwhelm the already overwhelmed reader. Overall, the way the information is formatted and worded ties the great advice into an easy to read guide. Nothing is overdone, over exaggerated, or remotely useless. I highly recommend this book to anyone struggling with the frustration of getting the right job.
