Kyle is an adorable boy and together with his friend Tiny the Mouse, they will teach children to recognize the different types of feelings. Feelings are important because when a child begins to recognize complex emotions, they acquire socio-emotional capacities that allow them to integrate properly into their environment with more maturity. Feeling All My Feelings Book was written so that parents can teach their children and open the possibility of dialogue. Kim T. S. expresses herself with specific phrases so that children can identify feelings. She clarifies that it is important to have the ability to feel, but that you have to learn to control what goes through your mind and heart to act appropriately.
Feeling All My Feelings Book covers many aspects. The drawings are simple but expressive, they show a wide range of emotions so that children will learn to recognize them. I liked the way the subject was approached because Kim T. S. expresses the ideas with great warmth. With this book, children will be able to take their first steps toward critical thinking because they will learn to express themselves and improve their ability to evaluate problems. The book mentions that you shouldn't let your feelings stop you from giving your best. Life will provide obstacles, but we must decide how to act. This will inspire determination and encourage children to face new challenges with greater confidence and discipline.
