Falling for Another Darcy is the third installment of Kate O'Keeffe's Love Manor romantic comedy series. It's been a year since Emma Brady met her Mr. Darcy, Sebastian Huntington-Ross, on the hit reality TV show, Dating Mr. Darcy. Now happily married, Emma acclimates herself to living in Sebastian's ancient family manor as Lady Martinson. With her wit and charm, Emma wins over Sebastian's friends and family, with the sole exception of his grandmother, Geraldine, who still feels that Emma is not good enough for her grandson. To make matters worse, Emma struggles to get pregnant despite her and Sebastian's best efforts. She can't help but be jealous of Odette Rojas, a force to be reckoned with in the financial world, alongside having two perfect children with her ex-husband, a former soccer star.
A charming romantic comedy full of heart and humor, Falling for Another Darcy is a joy to read. With vibrant characters and a humor-filled narrative, author Kate O'Keeffe tells a heartwarming tale of a young woman's struggles to come to terms with the demands of her English aristocratic husband's family as she is unable to give them an heir. The characters are full of life, with distinct personalities that win you over instantly. Emma is a likable protagonist who is relatable and easy to root for. I found myself thoroughly invested in her relationship with Sebastian. But it was the scenes with granny Geraldine that delivered some of the most hilarious moments of the book for me. I recommend Falling for Another Darcy to anyone who enjoys romantic comedies.
