An expedition gone wrong. The voyage to the extraordinary orphan planet has become more intriguing when the team sent there disappeared without any trace of life. It had been launched by the United States Department of Space Exploration. Captain Brynn Herris of the Colonial Navy who is ordered to take her ship, the Archangel, to rescue the journey, has to deal with people from the DSE in a sensitive and effective way. Furthermore, she has to work with a liaison sent by the DSE, a Falcon Marine who has ties to her past. Will this complicated journey succeed in the mission when the DSE has not revealed why their team was lost?
"Equinox" is a science fiction novel written by CK Burch. It consists of controversial ideas about one of the most debated topics of conversation – the origins of mankind. Burch has a vision that he has meticulously presented in this book. Although the subject sounds familiar, "Equinox" is likely to provide inspiration to other sci-fi writers. Of course, sci-fi fans will find the story interesting to read. When it comes to the level of enjoyment, this book will not disappoint. Its literary value, on the other hand, is not taken lightly. It has depth in which some sci-fi novels lack nowadays. Summing it all up, "Equinox" is a welcome addition to your collection of sci-fi stories. It is not all about the planet that holds no standard orbit around a celestial body and the absence of sun and stars to call its own. It goes beyond all these making it a worthwhile book.
