Oftentimes, our dogs get restless, and when a dog gets restless, it gets destructive. This book introduces fun and stimulating games and activities to do with your high-energy dog that will wear them out while also building on your bond with your dog. Filled to the brim with plenty of fun activities and games, you can’t go wrong with cheat sheets for energetic, high-energy dogs.
As an animal lover and dog owner, I had to read Enrichment Games for High-Energy Dogs by Barbara Buchmayer, and I am so glad I did. Buchmayer offers us a wide variety of games and activities that will both mentally and physically stimulate your dog while allowing you to bond at the same time. Each game has step-by-step instructions with added tips and hints in between. The book also offers images to show the setup for the games and just some adorable images of the author with their dog. As the owner of a rowdy Rottweiler, I can say for sure that I will be trying out many of these activities. I can tell by the instructions themselves that many of these games will really engage and challenge your dog while allowing it to learn and have fun. I am so glad to have found this book, and I hope other dog owners will give this a read as well.
