Enrich Your Life and the World with the Game of Golf: Every day is an opportunity to change the world, by Stephen A. Vigiano, is an intriguing look at the world of golf and how it can better your life. The author is a PGA master professional with five degrees in advanced education in the PGA of America. He uses his knowledge, expertise, and experience to show you how golf can contribute to success in almost all areas of your life, from personal relationships to your career. The analogies he presents can be applied to the wider world and could have a global impact, with an emphasis on self-respect, kindness, and respecting others. Golf and humanity have a lot in common, as you'll find out when you dive into this book, and you don't have to be a golfer to understand it.
I enjoy books that show new ways of thinking and clever concepts, and this is one of those books. The idea that "golf is life" may not have occurred to you, but Vigiano will show you that it is, and how golf and life go hand in hand. We can learn a lot from this game and its culture, and this author shows us how. Just as we learn life lessons from baseball, we learn from golf: values we honor, like honesty, sportsmanship, respect, etc. And if you think this is a how-to book on improving your swing, you would be mistaken. The chapter titles alone are enough to entice you to read, and the wisdom and advice within the chapters are valuable and actionable. You will also enjoy the author's personal anecdotes. Enrich Your Life and the World with the Game of Golf by Stephen A. Vigiano is a thoughtful unveiling of a plan for self-improvement and world improvement, brought to you by golf.
