Eat Sleep Play: A Day in the Life of Baby Sweet Cheeks! by Jamie Sajewel is a rhyming children's book about a baby named Baby Sweet Cheeks. Baby Sweet Cheeks wakes up and eats, she plays with her toys and she goes back to sleep. It is written in the form of questions, asking Baby Sweet Cheeks what she will eat, where she will sleep, and what she will play with. The book is about how Baby Sweet Cheeks grows and learns. The book also introduces concepts like colours to young readers.
I really enjoyed reading Eat Sleep Play: A Day in the Life of Baby Sweet Cheeks! by Jamie Sajewel. This book is perfect for reading to babies when they get up in the morning, as it asks them questions about what they will do today, and although they don't respond, it will still help them learn, and show that you care about them. The book is very relatable and realistic and portrays babies very well. The illustrations are very well drawn and colorful. The pictures of Baby Sweet Cheeks are adorable and the pictures show the scenes very well. The font really suits the story. The book is well-written, and the rhyming is well done. I liked that when a color is mentioned, the type changes to that color. I would recommend Eat Sleep Play: A Day in the Life of Baby Sweet Cheeks! to parents of babies and young children.
