Dying Thoughts: Fourth Week by Joey Paul is a stunning young adult paranormal novel. Superbly written, the story includes a compelling plot, a suspenseful storyline, and solid characters. Narrated by the main character Tara, the book realistically depicts the audacious and rebellious disposition of an opinionated teenage girl perfectly. Even though she is obviously self-involved and misguided about her future, Tara is likable. Because her character is so well developed, it is easy to relate to her personality. Including a cheeky heroine, exciting scenes, and an element of the paranormal, it is an extraordinary novel that will delight everyone who loves a thrilling mystery.
