Girls should not be subjected to social pressure to look a certain way. They may be able to improve their approach to this if they have the right attitude. It is first necessary to demonstrate to them that we all have unique qualities that define us. Nikki Helms has experience in teaching the importance of raising socially responsible children. Don’t Tell a Girl She’s Pretty is the ideal medium to teach youngsters that beauty isn't everything and that there are skills girls can develop. Her motivational phrases help to highlight the special qualities of girls and showcase their strengths. Readers will be encouraged to do new things to prove that both men and women have the same level of aptitude. Having a big heart and self-confidence is more important than being pretty.
Don’t Tell a Girl She’s Pretty is a beneficial read. The illustrations are colorful and cheerful and I liked the original art style. Nikki Helms uses short and amusing rhymes which show different examples of everything a girl can do. She teaches important values such as hard work and kindness, which are important characteristics. The book is suitable for parents and teachers in guiding girls to develop self-esteem and making them responsible. This book also teaches them not to be apprehensive when facing a test or starting a new activity. Young readers will feel free from pressure and have a healthier approach to what is important in life.
