But it all comes crashing down the day Jay is diagnosed with terminal liver disease. Although the lovebirds put up a brave front facing the situation head-on, as Jay's condition becomes increasingly worse with each passing day, Cindy has no choice but to pray and rely on her faith.
Author Susan Jean Ricci tells a captivating tale of two lovers that breaks your heart yet makes you feel invigorated about life. Don't Bruise the Bananas is full of charm, wit, humor, and romance. Ricci's humorous rendition brings a bit of levity to a moving story that strikes at your heartstrings from the get-go. Cindy and Jay are two immensely likable characters you can't help but love. Additionally, Ricci's scrumptious prose makes the narrative flow past like melted butter. Don't Bruise the Bananas is a story I highly recommend to anyone suffering grief or heartbreak.
