Marko Kitti is an internationally published children’s book author and illustrator. He is best known for his humorous children’s book series, Jesper Jinx.
Jesper Jinx, who first appeared in 2014, is beloved by children all over the world, since books with his wonderfully wicked adventures are already published in several languages.
Marko has written novels and short stories too, and his Finnish novel Meidän maailma (Our World) was shortlisted for the Runeberg Prize in 2009. Marko is a proud member of The Union of Finnish Writers.
Born and raised in Finland, he now lives in Santa Venera, Malta.

Ten-year-old Delbert has been sulking ever since his grandfather died because his grandfather meant the world to him. Delbert and his grandfather did a lot together and now all Delbert wants to do is stay in his room and think about their times together. Delbert wonders why can't everyone leave him alone. In Delbert: The Reluctant Spy (Volume 1) by Marko Kitti, we are taken on a fun-filled journey as it appears that his brother, Sam, will go to any lengths to get Delbert to stop sulking and come out of his room. Sam knows that there is only one thing that Delbert loves more than his grandfather, and that is being a spy. To set the stage, Sam’s girlfriend, Manisha, starts Delbert out on a Secret Spy Mission to find her cat, Pandora, beginning at the old house on top of the hill. In the end, Delbert encounters more than he bargained for.
I enjoy reading author Marko Kitti's work. Little did I realize that not only is Marko the author of Delbert: The Reluctant Spy (Volume 1), but is also the author of the Jesper Jinx Series. Jesper and Delbert are cousins. Marko entertains us as Delbert begins to look for Pandora. Throughout his adventure, he runs into his neighbor, Evie, who follows him wherever he goes because she's in love with him, and then the adventure begins. Delbert tries his best to evade her while he searches for Pandora. Little does he realize that Evie will end up being a great help to him on his Secret Spy Mission. If you want to read a book that is fun yet entertaining, get a copy of Delbert: The Reluctant Spy (Volume 1) by Marko Kitti.
