This is Mr. Koziar's first novel. One of his short stories has appeared in The Cross and the Cosmos magazine, and his poems have appeared in Digital Dragon, Mindflights and the Dovetail Journal.
He was born in New Jersey, but moved to Maryland to get his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University, and stuck around the general area. He's been married for over thirty years, and has one son who is currently serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. Over the years, he had collected Bible College courses and eventually decided to put it all together, getting a Masters of Ministry degree via distance learning from a small seminary in the area.
He currently serves as the pastor / leader / rabbi of B'nai Avraham Messianic Congregation outside of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He's also the Director of Engineering at a small technology company. He therefore straddles the worlds of science and faith every day, and this helps him write SF with a deep spiritual component.
He also is the founding vice president of the Association of Messianic Congregations.
When he's not writing or trying to promote his book, he also enjoys woodworking, raising orchids, photography and online multiplayer computer games.
He's getting ready to release his second novel, "Seeking Adam," about an alien who comes to this world for a fun little summer missions trip, but instead winds up in the middle of an interstellar war.

The story in this book is quite original, at least in the sense that I haven’t encountered it before. It includes a whole troop of likeable characters that keep the tale entertaining. The writing, though good, could use some editing to take away a lot of the tags because they distract and slow the book down. The tale is well-thought out, clean and entertaining.
Dauntless is a spaceship, sent with five crew members to a distant planet. After the trip that lasted more than a century, the ship lands back on earth. The five crew members are well-received by the nearby village where mentors are provided for the travelers. It is considered an honor to be close to them. None of the crew recognizes this new world they return to, or the Gods that are worshiped one day every week. At first sight, everything seems fine until the crew members are asked to worship with the townspeople. It appears more than an invitation, and some of the crew members feel insulted.
They decide to skip town and pass through many travels to find different things, places, or persons. They encounter other people from the world including angels and prophets that are named Purnarke in the story. They have to learn how to work together, and also convince others to join their side in the war against evil.
This book teaches many of life’s concepts about Christianity without being preachy and in a funny way. The author did a great job mixing fantasy and reality within the tale. Readers, from young adults to adults, will be edified by reading this book. It is a nice piece of work for those who enjoy high fantasy mixed with a bit of SCI FI.
