Dancing on the Wings of the Wind: Releasing the Song in your Heart by Donna Kutzner is an inspirational self-help book that everyone should read. From the moment we are born, someone leaves an imprint in our minds and hearts and we forget the song God wrote in our hearts. Then when we grow up, we do negative things to ourselves. Those imprints are bad or good and we thrive or feel like victims because of them. Donna Kutzner in Dancing on the Wings of the Wind: Releasing the Song in your Heart shows us that we can change our way of thinking; we can heal from the untruths that others or ourselves have set in our minds, no matter how dark the place in which we find ourselves.

With God, nothing is impossible. And with the help of Him who loves us, no matter what, we can lift ourselves up, no matter how dark our lives have become. I know this works for I have seen the help of God change many families for the better. Remember that for as long as you fear, you cannot love. When you feel your best, it trickles down to all you associate with and they too want to feel like you. In this book, you will find a great start, but you have to keep going on your own and never give up. If you are ready to be healed and happy, read this book and learn to dance the love song that God put in your heart for the rest of your life.

Dancing on the Wings of the Wind: Releasing the Song in your Heart by Donna Kutzner is a self-help handbook. Through her strong connection to God, Donna teaches the reader important lessons about life. She prompts one to dive into the immense love of the Almighty and helps them establish a connection with his/her inner self. Donna uses poetic language and metaphors to help people learn about themselves and their emotions. Like a personal conversation, Donna uses different strategies to convey her message, such as prayers, Bible quotes, and recounting her personal experiences and those close to her. In the end of the chapters, there is a “Meeting Place” - a collection of short exercises - which acts like a journal and assists one to reflect on each of the points discussed.

Dancing on the Wings of the Wind: Releasing the Song in your Heart by Donna Kutzner is gentle and soothing. I liked the way she brings a new meaning to parts of the scripture and puts feelings down truthfully. She refers to emotions that, even though they may be simple to express, are hard to elaborate on, especially when an individual is in crisis. Still, Donna is non-judgmental and gives one space for reflection. In a conversational style, she guides us to an inner dialogue with God. Even more beautiful, following the rhythm of music, Donna makes us dig deep (dance) into our emotions in order to heal, accept, love and grow. This book is inspirational, and it is aimed at people who are looking for some type of guidance in their life.

Dancing on the Wings of the Wind by Donna Kutzner is a self exploratory journey to find unhealed places within and turn yourself over to love. Only when rooted and grounded in love can you dance on the wings of the wind. It is a spiritual path using scriptures, anecdotes, and sets of journal questions to help you pinpoint the fears and burdens that you need to release. It also speaks about God's unconditional love and how you can learn to trust in Him because He doesn't love who you think you should be; He loves you exactly as you are. It helps in recognizing behaviors and thoughts that harm yourself and others that are not rooted in love, and gives suggestions and examples of how to turn them around. It discusses the difference between forgiveness and trust and how it is most beneficial to you if you forgive the ones who have done you harm.

Donna Kutzner made many good points in Dancing on the Wings of the Wind. I agreed with much of the thought process. It was a gentle invitation into the arms of God. I have always been a spiritual person, but did not grow up in a religious household. I have never felt it necessary to meet at an assigned place at a predetermined time every week in order to speak to God. While reading, I was engaged by the thought of meeting God wherever I chose, to have a conversation and listen with my heart. I highlighted many sections I felt were inspirational to read again in the future. The sections about fear and forgiveness struck home with me. After reading the book and doing the exercises, I found that some of the fearful behaviors apply to me. I was glad to gain that insight. I enjoyed this book.

Dancing on the Wings of the Wing: Releasing the Song in your Heart by Donna Kutzner is an inspirational book designed for people of all ages. It consists of ten chapters; Invitation to Dance, Dance of Intimacy, Dance Wherever You May Be, Dancing on Hot Coals of Fear, Dancing to a Broken Heartbeat, Dance Steps That Set Us Free, Break Dancing, Sword Dance, Dancing Into Others' Lives and I'm Dancing on the Wings of the Wind. Peppered with poems, this book shows us the way to become more aware with simple principles so that we can make our lives more meaningful, and this is irrespective of the stages of our relationship with God.

Dancing on the Wings of the Wing: Releasing the Song in your Heart can help readers find answers to questions which quite possibly have been lurking in their hearts for a long time. Donna Kutzner writes in lyrical and poetic fashion and drives her point in a beautiful way. Using dance as a metaphor to life is simply clever, and it caught my undivided attention immediately. Insinuating that there is a song that sleeps within all of us, her book tries to help us set it free. In so doing, we can make ourselves bloom again and create our own dance of being. Another desirable factor of this informative book is its organization so that even if there is no plot to follow or characters to get to know about, Donna Kutzner is still able to come up with an interesting book that deals with our very own lives and developing our relationship with God.
