Gail Morgan McRae grew up desperately poor on a small tobacco farm in rural southeastern North Carolina. Her family walked to church every Sunday they were all well enough to go. Her parents drilled into her and her brothers that to get out of poverty they had to get a good education, work hard, and have faith that God would put them where He wanted them to be. She didn’t get it when she was little, but as she matured she understood. She and her brothers worked hard to pull themselves out of poverty - and with God’s grace, they did.
She has been writing most of her life, though it was not until she was in her thirties that she began to write fiction, specifically fantasy. She has worked many jobs trying to help her family to make ends meet, but finds that writing is the most challenging and by far the most satisfying. She says though the trilogy is done, the series must go on. Book 4 (as yet unnamed) will continue the stories of many of the characters the readers have come to love - or hate - as the case may be. This fourth book came to her while she was writing Dunmyrr. She hopes to complete it within the next year or so.
Finally, she wants to thank all the fans of this series. Without your interest, there would be no reason for her to write these books. And she is convinced that the characters still waiting to have their stories told are as grateful to you as she is.

In a highly creative and inventive offering by author Gail Morgan McRae, Creedor: The Reglon Empire Series Part 1, readers are introduced to a highly unique and futuristic world, one filled with magic, murder and mayhem. Creedor, circa the 24th century, is in crisis. Jarlod, a politically motivated despot, has gotten rid of the dying king and has made himself the Emperor. Leaders that dare to oppose his reign are imprisoned or murdered, families lose their homes, the formerly peaceful place is now one filled with fear and hate. A true hero needs to rise, and it appears as if the only one available might come from a truly unlikely source. Who is this person? You'll have to read the story to find out!
I very much enjoyed reading Creedor: The Reglon Empire Series Part 1. I found the story so interesting that I simply could not put this book down. I read it from start to finish in one sitting. Author Gail Morgan McRae has clearly put heart and soul into writing this novel, and the hard work really shines through. The world creation is excellent, as well as the development of the main characters. Any reader who enjoys a great work of fantasy should definitely pick up this book. I recommend Creedor. The Reglon Empire Series shows a great deal of promise, and I certainly look forward to reading the next installment as soon as possible.
