Cosmos End by K.C. Martin is a futuristic science fiction novel that starts in 2024 and culminates near the end of everything. Robert Moth is a successful thirty-year-old man between girlfriends, and he is in no hurry to start a new relationship. He is not a criminal, but the government is always on his trail. They keep offering him tons of money in exchange for his DNA samples, bone marrow, blood, and flesh—because Moth possesses the gift of immortality. They try to force him to take the money, but they have no idea how long his life will stretch, long enough for Moth to witness scores of his loved ones pass away and to lead mankind to the uncertainties of tomorrow.

Socrates once said that the unexamined life is not worth living. Moth has carefully examined his endless life that is filled with curses and blessings without being overly sentimental. Cosmos End is suspenseful, sweet, and maddening. It is a story that will give you a profound reason why we should not live forever and one that will make you hate any agencies like the government who will operate by any means to get what they want from you. The novel is filled with self-evaluation that goes with the territory when the main protagonist is gifted with something that the rest of the world fails to understand. K.C. Martin has impressive solemn insights into writing a story that not only has great entertainment value but is a brilliant reminder to all of us of how puny and vulnerable we are. This is a highly recommended book for anyone who is into thought-provoking themes in science fiction.
