With captivating characters and a solid plotline, this book is bound to engage even the most reluctant of readers. Authors D.C. and C. Michael are a father-son writing team that blends their knowledge of the paranormal and mythological with humor to create thrilling adventures. As the first book in the series, it is outstanding. I look forward to seeing what happens in the following books. I appreciated how the authors described some of the mythology and paranormal inclusions; especially the Ley Lines. Many similar elements will resonate with fans of the Harry Potter series. This book is written for readers aged 9-18 and is suitable for both middle grade and young adult readers.
