Being You! Daily Mindfulness For Kids (Being Awesome!) (Volume 1) by Tracy Bryan is a book that teaches kids about mindfulness and awareness. It teaches kids that there are many things they can do every day to learn how to love themselves and tell themselves just how good they really are. It teaches ways to help children to cope with people who make them feel bad and how to deal with a situation that makes them uncomfortable. Above all, it teaches them mindfulness, how to understand their feelings and how to deal with them – how to be a fantastic person.
I found Being You! Daily Mindfulness for Kids (Being Awesome!) (Volume 1) by Tracy Bryan a neat book. It is absolutely packed full of colorful photos that help children to see what is being taught and it is full of great advice – some of which, I might add, a few adults could do with learning! I love the way the book is laid out; it is written in a manner that makes it easy to understand and fun to follow along. It’s interactive, not just a book full of words but a way that kids can get involved with the book. I also liked the addition of the extra websites at the end, very useful resources for kids and parents to tap into. I think this is a book that should be introduced into schools across the world! Lovely book, well written and well laid out, and I hope volume 2 is as good.
