Nothing is better than watching an individual gracefully execute the moves synonymous with a particular dance step unless that individual is you. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone is gifted in the art of dance. That number dwindles even more when you consider the subdivisions of dance known as ballroom dancing and its more energetic but equally graceful counterpart, Latin dance. Most people who attempt either style tend to end up frustrated with the entire process owing to the intricacy involved. James Goddard has developed a method that teaches both dance styles to beginners with such simplicity that it practically guarantees mastery of these dance steps in as little time as possible. Ballroom And Latin Dance Hacks is that book.
Ballroom And Latin Dance Hacks is an attempt to take the difficulty out of Latin and ballroom dancing and simplify it to the basic steps that a beginner or one more familiar with those styles can assimilate rapidly. James Goddard delivers such clear and concise instructions on body positioning and foot placement that it is practically impossible to get confused mid-step, as can be the case with many other books. Including pictures of what he explains is the masterstroke, which provides the key to unlocking his technique. What I find particularly nice about this book is how Goddard's suggestions are friendly and inviting in a way that interests even those who are not dance-inclined, such as myself. This is an impressive book with loads of eye-opening information in it.
