I found this book very interesting.  I grew up in a church that did not anoint with oil.  However, I now attend a church where it is a large part of our worship.  The oil in itself is not important, neither is it magical or special.  It is only after praying over it that it has becomes a spiritual tool.    It is the faith that empowers miracles that come with anointing.  Olalniyi M. Adelabu uses scripture to support his beliefs.  “The anointing oil has the presence of God the Holy Spirit, the power that resurrects Jesus Christ.”   He continues by discussing oil as used in healing.

I believe in anointing with oil and carry a small vial with me always.  When the Lord leads me to I will anoint and praying for an individual.  Adelabu takes his discussion farther to discuss the anointed living safely under the umbrella of the Lord.

This book is well worth reading.  It is an in depth look at anointing.  The statements are backed with scripture.  It is easy to read and understand.
