The book gives glimpses of the author's life before and after the death of her twins, her grief, angst, sorrow, and pain. The book is a tribute to her twins, Sophie and Aiden, and her story is that of healing and triumph, grief and her thoughts and feelings about it.
Christy Wopat's agony after losing her twins is palpable to readers as they go through her memoir. She shares her story with honesty and the rawness of her pain and her experiences will leave readers teary-eyed. Her story is real and relatable to many readers out there. Loss happens in life, and though the author's loss is not personal to readers, it will help everyone to appreciate life and become compassionate to all those who are dealing with pain and grief after the loss of their child.
