Emily Bunney's All Or Nothing is a story about recovering from toxic relationships and being able to move forward by living in the moment. Mila is moving to Seattle after procuring a job as an assistant to Coach Casey. That evening, Mila and her best friend are celebrating at the hotel bar and Mila notices a man that seems to be watching her. After Beth leaves the bar, Mila approaches the man and impulsively has a one-night stand. She leaves his room before he wakes up, which leaves Matt daydreaming about the encounter. He signs the contract to play hockey for the Seattle Whalers and, on the first day of practice, he discovers that his one-night stand is now his coach's assistant. Matt is determined to try a relationship with Mila, but she has just left behind a serious relationship and is terrified of being hurt again. There is also another barrier: No dating any of the team players.

All Or Nothing has an engaging cast of characters that complement the romantic plot. Emily Bunney's story didn't primarily focus on sex, which I found to be refreshing for a romance novel. The narrative is told from Mila's and Matt's points of view and easily transitions between them. I could connect with Mila's aversion to being in a relationship, and I admired Matt's persistence in proving he was interested in more than sex. The Whalers traveled around the country, and it was fun reading how Mila had to deal with any setbacks that occurred. A memorable scene in New Orleans had me picturing how distraught Mila was when she discovered she didn't book a room for herself. I know I would be turning red and arguing with the hotel owner as well. It would be equally embarrassing that the team could witness the entire mistake. This is a 5-star book with an engaging story filled with well-developed characters that had me hooked from start to finish. I would recommend fans of slow-burn romance novels to pick up a copy of All Or Nothing. This isn't love at first sight, but the perfect balance of a suspenseful romance story with a realistic edge of charm.

I really loved this book. It's extremely well-written; the author writes from Mila and Matt's point of view and both characters have their own distinct voices, a technique many other authors try and fail to use. It's funny, heart-warming and story-driven, with well-rounded characters and the exact right amount of steamy romance.

The first chapter hooks you right in and you find yourself rooting for the two main characters, enjoying the way the plot twists and turns to throw up obstacles you become desperate for them to overcome. I can't wait for you to read it!

5 stars for this amazing Sport-Romance. The author created 2 characters you immediately connect with and a plot that keeps you glued to the book till the end. Mila and Matt are explosive together, a night meant to be just a one-night stand shows there could be so much more between them, but they both are at a turning point with their life so there's nothing they can do than leave that night behind them and go ahead with their life. But destiny has other plans for them and their paths are going to cross again, being Matt the new player for the Whalers Hockey team and Mila the new Coach's assistant. Friendship, attraction, passion, heat, love, troubles and unexpected events are all going to appear in this beautiful story, while Mila and Matt learn how to navigate in their new life and how to deal with these new strong and powerful feeling they both feel for each others. I loved Mila and Matt's backgrounds, their past, their souls, their scars and how they try to build their new life, everything is described perfectly. I loved how Matt is focused on Mila, how he's head over heels for her since the beginning and that he has eyes only for her. I loved how strong and sweet is Mila, she is a perfect heroine. Everything seemed so real that I had the feeling of living with them while reading. I also loved the Hockey world the author created, she did an amazing job, the Whalers Hockey team and all the players, the secondary characters that have all an important role in this story and that I can't wait to read more about!!
This is definitely one of my top reads of 2021 and I highly recommend it.

Claire Reads Romance

Hockey Romance is my favourite and I fell for Matt in about 5 minutes flat, I loved everything about him. Read in one sitting, I couldn't put it down.

Emily Bunney's debut book All or Nothing, is the first Instalment of The new Seattle Whalers Series and its not to be missed. This book is sexy, funny and sweet. Give me a Hot Shot Sports Player, a duel POV and a Happily Ever After... and I'm hooked.

Emily Bunney wins with her debut novel.
The chemistry between uber sexy hockey god Matt and extremely sassy executive assistant Mila was off the charts right from the beginning. So I read this book in one sitting and fell in love with these wonderful characters.
A steamy, witty, and very enjoyable hockey romance. I can't wait for more books in the series.

What a debut novel!
I’ve read this book twice now and enjoyed it just as much the second time. The characters are well thought out and the scene is set nicely.
The steamy scenes are graphic and often. Just how I like it! There’s enough drama without an overload of angst and plenty of hockey throughout.
Mila is a strong female character, like able and sweet. Matt is sexy, goes after what he wants and isn’t afraid to talk dirty!
So glad this isn’t a standalone and there are more in the series to come.

Lulu Moore

A wonderful debut novel . Matt and Mila's story starts off with a steamy one night stand that couldn't be forgotten. After serendipitously becoming work colleagues when Mila moves away from a toxic relationship, they pick up where they'd left off.
They're such a brilliant couple, both learning from past mistakes and surrounded by a hilarious cast of hockey boys and gorgeous girl friends.
Can't wait to read the next in the series

I can not tell you how much I loved this book! Emily Bunney's writing is brilliant. It is the perfect mix of light, funny witty banter and hot steamy that I crave in a romance book.

Matt and Mila have amazing chemistry. I was on the edge of my sit dying for them to get together. I love the whole friendship group within this series and I can't wait to read more from this author and delve further into this series.

5 huge stars!!!

A heart warming hockey romance

I love reading sports romances, especially hockey romances. I have tons of fictional teams that I cheer on in my head, and now I have added one more- The Seattle Whalers! I really loved this story. It is well written and has great characters! Their personalities jump off the pages, entangling you in their story until you feel as invested in it as they are. This book is definitely a great read, and I look forward to the next in the series.
