Twists and turns will have you reeling in Alive Again by Rochelle L Wilcox. The trickster Loki has kidnapped and trapped Lia in Helheim, thinking he has the upper hand. However, it is here that Lia truly begins unraveling the truth surrounding her identity. Lia is no mere mortal and with the help of unlikely friends, they might all be able to escape from Helheim. More trials and tribulations await her as she attempts to find her way back to Freyr and Freyja and survive Ragnarök.
Once again I was absolutely blown away by Alive Again by Rochelle L Wilcox. Wilcox has the most amazing world-building skills that I will continue to praise till my dying breath. That, along with her unique take on Norse mythology, makes for such a thrilling and compelling story. The plot twists that occurred really left me too stunned to speak or react at times, which I loved because I consider myself the type of reader who always tries to figure things out from the start. Needless to say, I love being surprised in this way.
This book really set itself apart from the previous two as we see Lia take charge more and find the strength she didn’t know she had. I’ve enjoyed Lia as the main character so much especially considering her character growth from the first book. I also love the supporting characters in this series as they add depth to the story but also give the reader these subtle emotional connections. This book is a must-read and I highly recommend it!
