I was impressed by how easy the reading could be for such a hard topic. This book is full of hope, success stories, and faith in God. It is an example of how to ride a very tumultuous wave that touches so many of our lives and stay dry. My first thought was that this book would probably be full of regrets and negativism and would make me depressed.
What it contains is a lot of uplifting teachings mingled with deity. It doesn’t really preach any particular religion. It just helps you take “scare” out from the devastation of cancer. It walks you through every reaction and feeling you will have and turns it all into a new possibility of hope in God. It also includes foods that reduce the side effects of aromatase inhibitors and those that enhance the effectiveness of it and those you shouldn’t touch during the treatment. Also mentioned are the vitamins that may help with the side effects of chemo.
Judith and her family fight cancer over a long period of time. With new medicines, coupled with God’s will and love, they make it through a very hard time in their lives. She shares their experience of helping others to see the hope they need to conquer this monster.
Each chapter starts with a healing scripture from the Bible. A part of this book’s profits goes to preventing cancer and for cancer research. It will be cherished by anyone who has, or has had, a loved one in pain, struggling with this disease. Even children will benefit from this book, with the supervision of an adult.
