Poetry is an excellent source of inspiration. A life without purpose is often meaningless. Lakella L. Davenport's 30 Days of Inspiration: Poems About Jesus, God, and the Christian Life contains a series of inspirational poems dedicated to fulfilling the lives of Christians. The poems are presented in a journal style, with each day undertaking a different inspirational appeal. They are short and consistent and aim at enhancing engagement. Davenport talks about the concept of knowledge and the process involved in learning to understand the value that peace and wisdom uphold. The author also reflects on the role of Jesus Christ as the ultimate sacrifice.
I rely on reading inspirational books when faced with challenges. They act as a source of guidance in helping me understand the value and importance of having a purpose. Lakella L. Davenport's 30 Days of Inspiration is profound in every sense. I like the dedication to Jesus Christ; the appraisal uplifts the spirit and creates a beautiful atmosphere that makes the reading process easy. The poems are arranged symmetrically, with each perfectly complementing the other. Some biblical references are also noted for clarity purposes. Davenport exalts God's creation by writing about the attributions; it can transform a person's life with a new meaning and direction, helping to restore faith and balance. I was able to relate well to the content. Highly recommended.
