I thought that 15 Killer Ways of Marketing and Sales by Jay Raval had a number of good ideas, like using freebies to promote. I liked that he suggested you only pick a few of the social media sites, instead of all of them, as it can become overwhelming. I liked how he explained how to use SEO, which can be confusing at times. He also gave great examples when he was discussing how to brand yourself. Jay Raval also explained what your website should look like, which most people don’t think about, like what colors to use. It was a pretty quick read with some intriguing ideas. It could definitely be useful if you're looking to find ways to promote your product or service. I know I plan on doing some of them to help with my blog, just to see if they work.
