A young writer swears to avenge his fiance’s murder. Matt Warfield is determined to find the person responsible for Karen’s death by writing a book about a gang life. Matt finds himself investigating real gang members and police officers through interviews to make his story believable. He even makes visits to the most dangerous and darkest of places where gang members meet. The scary idea proves to be more terrifying when people from the “hood” find out the real purpose of his investigation. Matt has to escape his own death before it is too late. Will he be able to save his life and his fiance’s sister Kacey Cutter’s from the powerful mob boss and a rogue cop?
When it comes to real life influences, gang-related stories have become an instant inspiration to many writers who want to come up with a book about gang violence. Pete Peterson successfully creates a gritty thriller about crime on the streets. "All the Sad Young Savages" is not the most violent of gangster novels, but this book truly takes us to a violence so great that we wish the main character all the luck in the world to escape from the hand of the bad men. Peterson is undeniably a capable writer of suspense, action and thriller. No unhelpful and overcomplicated track in every chapter of this book. Unlike other suspense novels, this book does not depend on intrigue alone. There are more interesting details that will surprise the readers making this novel a must read!
